Welcome to the new website for Expert Patients Stockport, you now can keep in touch, setup your own blog and add audio clips or instant chat. We will be having online video training for the Socnet forum and have a Site Moderator should you need any help and to ensure the forum is kept a friendly place to visit. Plus we have our own wire service (just like Twitter) or you can setup your own twitter and read it on here. I went on the Expert Patient Course in 2003 and through it got involved with website building for Voluntary groups and have also made websites to W3C standards. This has kept my mind very active and is very therapeutic. The Expert patient course in Stockport gave me a new outlook on life and hope many more gain benefit from it.I am also webmaster for the therapeutic writing website www.createwrt.net. being disabled myself I have a better understanding now both of my own disability and looking at ways to improve life for other disabled.
