Welcome to the website for Expert Patients Stockport, you will shortly be able to keep in touch, setup your own blog and add audio clips or instant chat. We will be having online training for the Socnet forum and have a Site Moderator should you need any help and to ensure the forum is kept a friendly place to visit. I went on the Expert Patient Course in 2003 and through it got involved with website building for Voluntary groups and have also made websites to W3C standards. This has kept my mind very active and is very therapeutic. The Expert patient course in Stockport gave me a new outlook on life and hope many more gain benefit from it.I am also webmaster for the therapeutic writing website www.createwrt.net. being disabled myself I have a better understanding now both of my own disability and looking at ways to improve life for other disabled.
